Cauliflower, the versatility of this white vegetable

Cauliflower is a vegetable that has shown to have a huge potential over the last few years. It has very few carbohydrates and contains the mineral boron that helps the endocrine system to keep viruses at bay.
It can be easily digested and with the fiber it contains it helps aid the digestive tract. It also has glucoraphanin. This helps protect the stomach lining from harmful bacteria.

Its great for promoting weight loss. High in fiber content and has a limited amount of calories so you can enjoy this wonderful veggie without gaining weight. Instead of grabbing a potato, reach for the cauliflower instead. You will get a health boost and possibly a thinner waist line.

Health benefits:

1.Cauliflower also has its anti-inflammatory effects. The omega-3 fatty acids inside this veggie can help stop inflammation in your joints.

2.High in antioxidants. The phytonutrients and beta-carotene will protect you against cancer and many other diseases, including cardiovascular issues. You will have a lower chance of breast cancer, bladder cancer, and ovarian cancer especially if you are a woman.

Ways to prepare cauliflower:

1.Just cut the florets into bit size pieces and add your favorite dressing.

2.Tossed it with fresh garlic, some virgin olive oil and seasoning and roast them in your oven or grilled them on the BBQ.

3.Place the bite size pieces into a steamer and steam them for about 5-6 minutes.
